The doctrine

One golden rule. Three keystones.

Many systems hand you a dozen laws and a feeling of failure. Sylvics asks for three things, and settles everything else with one rule.

One place.

If it matters, it goes in the vault. If you are not sure where, it goes in the Inbox.

Clear the Inbox weekly.

Make each jot a task or a project, file it, or let it go.

Your own words.

What you keep as knowledge, you restate yourself.

If it creates more friction than it removes, simplify it.

That is the golden rule. Lite mode, the Simple switch on area pages and the areas you leave alone all exist for it. Try it on a daily note.

The daily note has about fourteen parts. Lite mode hides four. One outcome, the habits ticked and three lines of summary still make a complete day.

Bend any habit the vault suggests. Nothing breaks. Only the three keystones hold it up.
