💡 Use Case
The eight shortcuts and four saved searches I allow myself in this vault, listed so that I cannot quietly add a ninth. Changing any of them counts as a structural change under Rules for this vault, and so falls inside 📜 Use this system for ninety days without changing it.
The four searches
- Tasks with no project
- Literature notes older than a week with no highlights
- Permanent notes with fewer than two links
- Everything created in the last seven days
⚖️ Pros & Cons
Pros
- eight is few enough to live in my hands. Today's note, new jot, new task, search, back, forward, toggle a checkbox, open the weekly note.
Cons
- I want a ninth roughly once a month. It goes on the itch list. In April the list had four proposed shortcuts on it and I could not remember what two of them were for.
