🌲Forest Floor

First of the eight tracks in the ambient set that came with the vault. I did not choose them, which is most of why I use them: there is nothing here to have taste about.

A low drone that stays on one note, with something like air moving above it. No tune, no beat, no words. Two minutes and forty-eight seconds, built to run into its own beginning, so on repeat I cannot tell where it starts.

• This is what plays for 🔹 Statistics practice, 25 minutes. About nine times round is one session, and I have stopped counting.
• At ☕ Desk in the spare room it covers the street without becoming a thing I listen to.
• Too low for laptop speakers. Headphones or nothing.

Bach is still for writing. This is for the work where even Bach is somebody talking.
