💡 Use Case

The six prompts behind every decision note in this vault: the dilemma in one sentence, the options, what I chose, what I expect to happen, what would change my mind, and a date to look again. First filled in for 📜 Use this system for ninety days without changing it. It is 🧭 One-page decision memo turned on myself, and a prompt for a person, not for a model.

⚖️ Pros & Cons

Pros

• what I expect to happen is written before it happens. In April I could compare the forecast with the ninety days and not with my memory of the forecast.

Cons

• six boxes invite six tidy answers. The decisions that mattered this year were messier than the form.

🔄 Alternatives

• Dad's method, which I found again in May: date, fault, part, what he would do differently. Four columns and no template at all (🕰️ My father's repair notebooks).
